Headlong appoints Jeremy Herrin as Artistic Director

Headlong theatre has announced Jeremy Herrin as its new Artistic Director, replacing Rupert Goold, who steps down in September after eight years in the role.

Herrin, who trained at the National Theatre and the Royal Court, where he was Deputy Artistic Director from 2009 to 2012, is to direct the world premiere of Hilary Mantel's novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies in two parts for the RSC in December.
